The Porter residence was designed by Merri Designs and built by Square Homes. The late Victorian stone cottage, typical of Banyan Street, has been retained whilst the extension and renovation to the rear has resulted in a low maintenance, warm and relaxing family home.
The indoor and outdoor recreation zones have been seamlessly interwoven by using materials characteristic of the dwelling, whilst retaining a very important streetscape – the cottage remains intact.
