Lighthouse Theatre - planning for the future

Help shape the future of the Lighthouse Theatre. Share your ideas as we develop a new strategic plan to keep the Theatre vibrant, inspiring and welcoming for years to come. 
 
We would like to know what you value about the Theatre. We have drafted 5 pillars to form the foundation of the Strategic Plan. We are keen to gather comments and ideas about these pillars. 

Pillar 1 Welcoming - Lighthouse Theatre will create an environment where everyone feels invited, included and valued – from first time visitors to professional artists

Pillar 2  Vibrant - Lighthouse Theatre will celebrate creativity, diversity and professional excellence, energizing our community through dynamic programming and participation

Pillar 3 Inspiring - Lighthouse Theatre will support artists and audiences to imagine, create and grow, fostering pathways for lifelong engagement with the performing arts

Pillar 4 First Nations Participation - Lighthouse Theatre will commit to meaningful, ongoing engagement with First Nations artists, cultural leaders and communities across all aspects of our operations

Pillar 5  Regional Leadership - Lighthouse Theatre will collaborate with regional partners to strengthen the South West Coast’s cultural ecology and expand access to high quality performing arts, increasing visitation and the region’s cultural reputation

  • Fill in the survey at the bottom of this page.  A hard copy survey can also be filled in at the Civic Centre 25 Liebig Street Warrnambool or at the Lighthouse Theatre, 185 Timor Street.
  • Make a written submission and email it to [email protected]  or post it to PO Box 198, 25 Liebig Street, Warrnambool Victoria 3280. Please add  “Lighthouse Theatre Strategic Plan”  to the subject line.  
  • Drop into the Library Your Say session 11 - 1 pm Wednesday 13 May to chat with Theatre staff and provide your comments. If you need assistance, we can help you fill in the online or hard copy survey.

If you need assistance to make your submission, please contact Council via telephone 5559 4800 or email [email protected]  You can also drop into the Civic Centre or Lighthouse Theatre, where one of our friendly staff can help.

How will your feedback be used?

Your feedback will be used to help draft the Theatre's Strategic Plan. The draft Plan will then be made available for further comment before it is finalised for Council adoption.
