Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to take part in the 2026 Warrnambool Business Survey.
Business owners, business operators and homebased businesses can provide anonymous information to help Council and the business community gauge business trends, trading performance and investment in the City.
The survey will provide a snapshot of the current business landscape, including business confidence, challenges and opportunities.
The Warrnambool Business Survey has been conducted since 2011, providing Council and the Warrnambool community with valuable data on our local economic climate.
In the last survey year of 2024 over 300 responses were gathered from Warrnambool businesses, with feedback around a need for increased public safety in our CBD and regular business training and networking events. We delivered programs to help address these needs and are keen to know if they assisted businesses.

How will your feedback be used?
The aggregated survey results will be made public for all businesses to use. Council will use the survey results to help plan economic development programs over the next 2 years.
